In the sky of the arctic circle, there was once a prosperous kingdom known as the Cloudkeep. Peaceful and hidden from the rest of the world, they thrived. But good things don't last. The king went mad and bestowed a curse upon his people, condemning them to evaporate come the next full moon. The people of the Cloudkeep staged a revolution against the king, killing him in the process. But the curse still remained. In a desperate bid for her child's survival, the queen locked Princess Pom, her twin brother, and her guardian fae, Mochi, away in a stasis chamber, putting her to sleep for 500 years. The queen herself later succumbed to the curse. The kingdom fell apart in a matter of a single night as its people were evaporated.500 years later, Pom awoke to find her kingdom desolate, and her brother gone. She explored her old haunts, hoping to find anyone, but her search proved fruitless. Everyone really was gone.But Pom doesn't want to go. She's been here, all this time, and she's too attached. Is it a sense of guilt for being unable to help her people? Is it just simple sentimentality? Who knows really. But she's been keeping herself entertained! She's learning to become a wishmaker, so that's fun for her. She also did snag some nifty modern day gadgets that Mochi had acquired, and now streams and play games to interact with people from the outside world. Having lost her people and her birthright, Mochi and her new subjects -- ahem, followers, are what keeps her grounded. Won't you keep her company too?
